It's just too long until July, and I know there are a lot of Potter crazies on here. So any suggestions?

I like Cornelia Funke. It's not quite Wizards & mythical creatures, but she's a very gifted writer.

Have you read Ursula le Guin's Earthsea Trilogy (actually, I guess it's a quartet as of recently...)

She did the "school for wizards" thing long before Rowling. And better, too, imo.

Forgot to mention, check out Barb. She wrote novel-length fanfics for the last three years at Hogwarts, plus a prequel set in the time of Lily and James. As good as the real books, dead serious!

I am LuvMyLittles eldest. I want to tell you that if you want a HP fix Wizard rock keeps me fixed. Also PotterCast is awesome. As for books, I'm not sure.
