Frank Miller's 300 - Page 2

Just got back from seeing this and I'm still too wound up that I cannot even articulate how awesome and visually stunning this film is. It's a feast for the eyes. And it's going to change the way movies are made. Or at least, I hope! It is that amazing.

And yes, Gerard Butler looked hot! LOL

I am not much for gore in a movie but I have to say, the previews for this movie looks so gorgeous- just visually stunning. I would love to see it based on that alone but I am very squeamish when it comes to blood and gore in a movie.

everyone is VERY correct when they say how visually stunning the movie is. we saw it opening night : and it was just so wonderfully shot. very beautifully done.
of course, KNOWING the story of the 300, well i found the story line itself to be hillarious, but... the movie was based on the graphic novel(comic) which was LOOSELY based on history.
the bedroom scene was VERY good. however the rape scene was VERY disturbing for a survivor and IMO was just NOT needed.

i think if one is considering letting their teenagers see it you should see it first, then make your judgement. i know many teenagers that could handle watching the movie maturely, and MANY who couldnt.
