I did something stupid

DH and I DTD last night w/o a condom. I hadn't been having CM yet so I thought I was in the clear...Lo and behold today I have this ( tmi alert ) gush of fertile CM. DH pulled out at the end, so its not "residue" I do not believe I O'd last month, and I don't think I'm O'ing during this cycle either. I KNOW when I O because I get bad cramps and feel icky all over. I feel fine right now. SO, given that I'm not O'ing on every cycle and DH pulled out, what are my odds of getting pregnant right now?

Well, I have never gotten pregnant with "pull-out" whether O'ing or not (and I am FERTILE). I am assuming you are still bf'ing. Even if you did O, you may or may not be too fertile. With my last, I was O'ing and trying to get pg while still BF'ing DD (now 3). I had low progesterone and it hindered successful implantation. (Not everyone has this problem but it is pretty common.)

So, the answer is: I don't know, as it really depends on a lot of factors. You probably have a good chance of not getting pregnant, though.

Yes Henri is breastfeeding. We just started solids so its like 99% breastfed too. I got my period back at 8wks pp and have had a period regularly ever since, but I haven't O'd every cycle. I've thought about having my hormones tested to see whats really going on ( been having emotional problems ) maybe I have that low progesterone thing you mentioned. Le SIGH!

probably unlikely if he did withdrawl in time and hadn't had an orgasm in 12 hrs before.

Unlikely yes, but also possible. I had a WD pregnancy.

The fluids could be your arousal fluids from the night before, just a thought.

My son is a withdrawl pregnancy. Actually, I was bf, hadn't had my period, on the mini-pill, and withdrawing.

It sure does happen! My best friend also has a withdrawl baby!

I'm sure it's a possibility but, imo, not too likely. We've been using withdrawal for 7 years now (and don't use extra precautions during fertile times) and I've never had an oops. We got pg the first month with all 3 pg's so it's not a fertility issue either.
