Our baby boy was born last night in a wonderful, if not intense, home waterbirth! :

No name yet (still!)

7:43pm - Ds1 was born at 7:41am, if this guy's shoulders hadn't have gotten stuck they probably would have had the same birth time!

Ok and now for the big part, lol:

TWELVE pounds, four ounces!
Or at least that's what we think - he could have more like 12lbs 6oz but he maxed out the MW's scale.

His head was 15 1/4", chest 17" and change, and he's 23 1/2" long. Ds1 was 8lbs 12oz and 22 1/2" for comparison. Nursing could be better but we have a call in to an IBCLC.

Happy birthing to all those who are left! I hope to come back soon and do some catching up.

First of all, tons and tons of congratulations to you!!! Oh, and lots of love too!

Second of all, what a big guy!! I'm glad I haven't knit anything for him yet or it would probably have been too small!

Well, I guess that is what you get for being president. I mean it totally makes sense that you have a big baby.
I am glad now that I was just in charge of internet addiction, I mean, mine will be smaller, I am sure

Seriously though, congratulations!!! Enjoy your baby moon, and I can't wait to hear more of a birth story and how our wonderful president gave birth to a 12 pounder!!!

Wow Paisley!

I thought I was going to be in the running for the biggest baby award (I have no idea how big this baby will be, but have a gut feeling over 10 #) but now I don't wanna be. I'll gladly let you have the title!

COngrats on your sweet new baby boy. Can't wait to see pictures and find out his name!
