:

If the foreskin is so prone to problems, why haven't the other 23 medically advanced nations adopted routine circumcision?

Cuz the US has evolved throughout the years so the foreskin is not needed here, but those other countries haven't experienced the same evolution?

AAP just realizes that cicumcision hurts!

I just went to AAP to do some more research. In 1999 they realized that cicumcision DOES hurt and have effects on the baby. so now they are recommending them to be drugged. Another website said the drug will be a nerve blocking spinal needle. WHAT IDIOTS! After all these years they realize that taking a blade to an infants penis would hurt??? Now giving a needle with a drug that will do who knows what, will be better??! PATHETIC. PATHETIC.

nightowl1234 - The American Academy of Pediatrics stance on circumcision is laughable. All the way to the courtroom - where the issue will be resolved.

shelbean91 - That's Gotta Be It !! (Who really *needs* that li'l ol' flap of skin, anyway??) And what about these ol' flaps around my mouth? I don't really need 'em, do I? And what's up with the pinky finger? Anyone out there find a viable use for it yet? Maybe just for wearing a pinky ring. So sek-say, especially on a man wearing one given him by his true love. But, hey, that's just my own not-so-humble-opinion.

bxingirl - The needle itself has got to be painful/traumatizing in itself for a small newborn infant fresh from the safe-from-external-stresses environment of the womb.

mamacrab - I'm glad my sarcasm caused you to laugh. Tit-for-tat. I've all but completely relinquished drinking coffee 'cause I found myself spending a phenomenal amount of time wandering around, trying to find my coffee cup.

:LOL

<<Cuz the US has evolved throughout the years so the foreskin is not needed here, but those other countries haven't experienced the same evolution>>

Correct!

What else could it be?

That's GOTTA be it!

I have done so much research and have not found a better answer.
Although I never read that theory anywhere before, I believe it.

Absolutely dead serious . . . . A woman told me once that her doctor told her that Europeans are different from Americans and that's why Americans have problems with intact penises and Europeans don't. I swear that is a true story! How did that guy get through high school much less medical school?
