converting infant pfs into prefitteds?

do you think this would work well for a newborn? i have bunches of infant pfs and i was thinking of turning some into prefitted for the new baby.

also, does anyone know a link to instructions on how to convert a pf into a prefiteed? it would be much appreciated.

As much as that pattern posted above is greatly appreciated. I realized after following it that the dipes were too "straight". The crotch area was just too wide (kwim?)

I ended up following the basics but made it into a contour. I also put 2 layers of H&L for easy size adjustment.

THat is very cool - I am going to have to try that with my infant prefolds... Is that some sort of snap tape?
