Mini rant-need support, please. Latchy energy-NOW!

My sis just had her boy on the 9th and is having some bfing issues. If y'all got a sec., please let's rally around her energetically & support her getting going bfing her boy. She was given misinformation from a nurse to give him a bottle/formula until her milk came in. Her ds is now having nipple confusion. This has made the baby frustrated at the nipple which causes my sis despair. This may be enough to totally derail her ability to nurse but I'm hoping not. This is her 2nd child. Similiar issues arose w/her dd & she wasn't able to successfully nurse her. I REALLY want her to experience the joy, wonder & convenience of nursing her own child! So take a sec and send some latchy vibes to my precious new nephew. TIA!!!!!

what the heck is it w/ nurses who tell new moms to supplement w/ formula! : WTH!? Oh that fries my potatoes! Is there any less accurate info? (that's a rhetorical question...) GRRRrrrr..../rant

I hope everything is going ok!! I wish the nurses would remember that it takes a couple days (at least) for milk to come in and babies don't need more than what they are getting (colostrum) until then.
