Our little girl is here!

After 16 hours of (induced) labor our little girl decided to make her appearance. She was born on Sunday at 37w6d weighing 8lbs 3oz- the same exact size as her big brother.

We are just thrilled to have her home.

I go in for my gallbladder surgery in a week, so I'm working furiously to get my milk in and a freezer supply built up just in case.

Big brother Parker resonds to the question "what will you do if somene tries to be mean to your little sister?" by saig, "Kick boy's butts!" My husband is just adorable- a big lump of mush whenever he is around the baby.

Thank you ladies for all of the congratulations and well wishes for my surgery. I am feeling pretty good about everything, definately glad that we decided to push the surgery back a week. I have pumped milk in the freezer *just in case*, which puts my mind at ease a little. The harderst part will be only consuming clear liquids for 24 hours prior along with the dreaded colon cleanser. Ack. It will all be worth it when I can eat without fear again
