I just found out that a family I know of suffered an incredible loss yesterday. Their 2 1/2 year old son drowned. I'm not sure how it happened. They have a 5 year old and are expecting a baby girl next month.

I have been keeping them in my thoughts this afternoon after getting this news.
I can't imagine losing my child, but to lose a child while being so close to giving birth... oh my god.

Please send light, love and energy to this family that they can get through this and that the baby girl comes into this world next month in peace and joy.

My oldest daughter died last June 11, three weeks before my baby was due. He was born 5 weeks later (2 weeks late). I looked everywhere for help before the baby came, but could find nothing relating to that particular circumstance. A few months later, I found this website:

If you are comfortable sharing that with them, I think it would help~ as much as anything could, anyway.
