I have two sons and I have a neat little story from the birth of my second. I was past the due date with him and I was worried that he was getting too big inside me. This was a legitamit concern as my first boy was 9lbs11oz and I could feel that this "little" one was bigger. Anyway I was so worried, also about what to do with my 2yr old when I went into labour. Sept.17 about 2am I started feeling it and I thought "oh no this cannot happen now, my little boy just can't wake up and find me gone" He has always woken up in the night to "check on me" and I really felt it would be too upsetting for him. So I went back to sleep and did not go into labour that night. The next day I called my friend Sarah and said "ok Sarah, My little guy has to sleep over at your house tonight so that I can have this BABY ALREADY!" We packed him off to Sarah's and that night I went into labour really quickly. The midwife came and we went to the hospital and I was back home that day at noon with both of my sons in bed with me. The new one was 10lbs4oz no drugs or stitches both times...whew!
