And for me, specifically, it comes back to a theme that has been with me since my second pregnancy loss: how to understand that the cycle of loss that I was in for much of my life ended with the life of my second child passing through me. That he actually fulfilled his purpose of physical life by ending that cycle of loss for me.

(oh dear, this is getting long)

So, the affirmation that she came to, and that I have been journeying toward since 2005 is: I trust that I can have the desires of my heart.

(This is my San Diego, if you've read AAIIG) Well, I won't keep going on. That's the basic story.
I really like that affirmation. And the thoughts on fertility are fascinating. It is definitely interesting to think of the energy in a different way.

Yesterday I wrote out my affirmations for weaning. Shared them with you all. Took in the WONDERFUL advice that many of you shared.

Today...she nursed when she woke up and that was it.

Mid-morning when DS went down for a nap, I told her it was special mama and Lily time and I offered her monnies (with love and sincerity before she asked...thank you Koala I think you shared that ) and she said "No Thanks" I'd rather do a puzzle.

Later in the day...at a very in-opportune time (IMO at least) she asked. I said I needed to think about it. A couple of minutes later she asked me again and I said..."I'd prefer not to." (It was the most authentic, honest response I could come up with.) She got a little upset but VERY QUICKLY let it go and never asked again for the rest of the day.

Wow!!!!
That is so cool. I really like the way coming at it from a different perspective seemed to change everything. I am working on this for night nursing and working towards weaning. It is so helpful for me to be able to follow your story.

Oh, and after I'm no longer a nursing mom I'm going to manifest me some bigger boobies. (The one and only time in my life I ever had any and now they're going to disappear again. )
I love turning it over to the Universe. That is such a freeing feeling. And I have to say, the bigger boobies thing : Actually, my best friend took photos of her boobies before her youngest dd weaned so her and her dh could have a memento of the nursing boobies.

Oh, I am so sorry about your Grandma The rainbow sounds like such a lovely experience to have and help everyone connect with her.

After George (a goldfish), died a couple of weeks ago, our son asked me for the first time 'Will I die?' And I told him 'Our body dies, but we have a spirit of energy that stays with the people we love. So our spirit doesn't die, just our body.' I said 'Remember the Circle of Life? When things die, their body returns to the earth and nourishes the plants, and trees and becomes flowers and air and sun and helps everything that is living, so the body nourishes everything when it dies. And the spirit is always with the people who loved us. We are always together, even after our body dies.'

So, I don't really feel sad, because Grandma (and George) are always surrounding us.

Pat
I just wanted to say, I read this and thought, oh wow, how would I ever explain death to dd? And your explanation is so perfect. I copied it down. Thank you for that.

S will do the pictures (and get pictures to use on my new website!), I will help the sibling, and we will both do the doula work. I couldn't imagine a better situation.

I'm just flat out amazed at how quickly the universe works when you get out of your own way.
Oh that's so cool! btw, we are planning on looking for a doula this spring......

I am having a great morning. Interview #2 is today and I'm practically positive that they just want to discuss salary. I've decided since it's a large corporation, they have more than enough money for me

I've got good music going and I just know this weekend is going to be great. Mmmmm.
That's awesome, looking forward to hearing back on how well it went!

Hmmmm. But today I feel like posting because I had one of those breakthough and I can't stop crying from such joy I feel........

This week I am ovulating and so I am manifesting a pregnancy. I have been doing alot of tapping (emotional freedom techniques- Thanks to Annikate) and found and released alot of emotional blockages for abundance. There is an exercise for trying to feel the abundance on one the website newsletters I found http://www.carollook.com/newsletterdirectory/ . Feeling Success http://www.carollook.com/issue11/

Here Carol Look talks about this:
"So here are the steps:

(1) Choose a subject/area of your life, where you feel wealthy and abundant now. (friends, books, your stamp collection...)
(2) Talk about it, write about it, think about it.
(3) Notice the change in your vibration.
(4) Keep your focus here, (not on the shrinking funds.)
(5) Really FEEL this vibration of enough, plenty, abundance...

Do this every day."

With Step 1 I had trouble feeling abundance and trying to picture many trees with leaves wasn't quit the picture I needed or many books or something else. I finally figured out my abundance to picture......its the unconditional love I get from my new family (my dh, my ds, and soon to be dd I speak to the child's soul) and dh's family.

I have so much abundance of love coming from what I described above that I never really got from original family (parents and siblings). This feeling has overwhelmed in the past hour and I can't stop thinking about it and feeling it so I can't stop crying.: but the happy tears flow like this

to all manifesting mammas and especially ones who are trying to get pregnant!
That's cool, I like that exercise! And welcome to coming out of lurkdom

String theory basically scientifically proves the relevance of loa. In my eyes any old way. It's about the fact that we actually live in 10 dimensions (not 3) and we are all made up of what they call 'super strings'. They're really just vibrating fibers. Horribly interesting- but also hard to wrap your mind around because it is so scientific.
I haven't read anything, but saw something I think on Nova a while back, and when I was watching it thought about "vibes" and sending good vibes, etc. Then along came the Secret, which I kinda already knew sort of from Shakti Gawain and The Celestine Prophecy. But I really do feel the string theory binds it all together and confirms it. We really are all energy and how we think has an effect on our energy which effects the energy around us and so on.....so cool!

hi mamas!
Popping in for a second and then we're going to pick oranges and grapefruit from a neighbor's trees!

I had my first appt. w/the same classical homeopath dh went to a couple of weeks ago. Wow. I felt like I had a therapy session! She's awesome! I'll find out my remedy on Monday (she likes to sleep on it).

I can't wait to tell you barefoot mama!

And celeste - you're welcome!

Oh, the REACH word worked for me again this afternoon too. I went to Toys R Us to look for a toy camera for dd for her birthday April 10th
(She *loves* taking pictures). All I could find was a kid's digital for $65. Ummm, she's only 2. Not ready for that yet.

I searched the whole store and nothing else except a little camera phone that played music (really for babies.)

I called dh about the $65 one and we decided no. I said REACH in my head a few times and VOILA! on the way out there was a CLEARANCE shelf w/ 4 cameras for $6.99 each.

It's cute too! You take the pic and the eyes blink and then it shows a picture on the back like a digital would. I think it scrolls through like 4 or 5 pics.

She's going to love love love it!

Amris - I can't wait to take a look at your site.

I know It was a digital photo of just her boobies, no face or anything and they named the file Her name_Whoa!

Amris, I think your website looks fantastic! It is easy to navigate and easy to understand.

Oh, and Momtwice, the vacuum cleaner thing! That is so cool.

I want to change the reality on my vacuum cleaner so it does the job all by itself! Seriously though, I used to feel soooo frustrated by housework. We live in a 850sf house, but I always felt the cleaning up was monumental (up til now), and I always felt that dh wasnt helping enough (up til now) A while back, I decided that constantly nagging him to do more and try to make plans for chore charts and have meetings about how to split up the work, etc, wasn't worth my time. I completely stopped asking him to do anything, and just thought to myself, the house is always clean enough. And if it isn't clean enough, at least we are spending our time doing things more important like going to a park or reading stories with dd or doing an art project. And in the last few months, dh just started doing more than he ever has! I come home to clean house usually Mon and Thurs and only have to do minor things Tues and Wed. and then we work together for any little things on the weekend. It's awesome. And now we just thank each other for everything. It's a lovely lovely way to have things work.

One thing that has helped me view money in a better way is considering the good it does for others when I spend it! So when I go to a restaurant and spend my dollars, it is putting money into the hands of the wait staff, the chef, the hostess, the restaurant owner, the accountant for the restaurant, the accountant's assistant... and on it goes as those people spend those dollars and put money in the hands of other people they appreciate. What a beautiful way to spread good energy! So I now bless all my dollars, and then imagine how those dollars bless all these other wonderful people I am connected to. More money, please! I'd like to bless more and more and more people!

ananas... Thanks so much for posting that quote from MsC again! I loved that the first time it was posted! I can't remember who it was in response to at the time, but I remember the discussion about how the smiley guy can bump your vibe. And glad to hear you're feeling better.

Linda... So glad to hear you all arrived safely! Can't wait to hear about the next leg of your adventure!

Thank you for unlurking and posting this! As I was reading the steps I couldn't think of anything for step one. I thought about my kids, but thought, "no, I'm not really giving them enough to use that" later on in your post, I realized it's not about if I think I'm a good mom. It's that they totally love me even if I'm NOT!!

That changed my whole vibration.

For the Seattle get together, the weekend of the 22nd of April I will be in Tennessee, so I can't do it then. I am so not up with this thread, I've got very little time on the computer lately. DS has been extra high needs, which is saying a lot. I'm only on it now because he's watching a video (bad mommy, I know). Anyway, what about the following weekend after that? Or is the tulip festival only one weekend?

Tulip festival is every day in April

Folk Life is on memorial day in May. Fun fun fun.

Going for my interview in one hour. Slightly nervous...not sure why. The guy seems really nice.

Yargh. If anyone wants to send me some easy calming thoughts, please do.

It has helped me to understand that in the past, anything I was anxious about turned out to be easy--only the anxiety was hard. And to understand that it appears this is resistance to ease & happiness, not to particular desires.

But, Yargh!! Among other things this would be a lot easier if I were not living with a manifestation from the past that involves having no anti-anxiety medication anymore.

Aha! I used REACH to find myself some easy food, and REACH to find to find my very last anti-anxiety pill.

Oh! I finally recieved the weekly Abe CD this morning! it was brilliant.

I don't know how it works, either, but I have a story. I use a kind of shampoo that comes in a bar, and it can be difficult to find, even in health food stores. I was very close to running out, and I was planning on visiting a natural food store out by where I used to live, which I hadn't visited in months. They've sometimes had it and once ordered it for me, before. And I thought "wouldn't it be nice if they had the hemp and teetree oil kind? That's the kind I really like." Well, I went to the store, and they had it! When I mentioned how pleased I was, they said they'd ordered that type by mistake! I bought three bars, and thought wow, this really works!

Amris, I really like your site! easy to navigate, and very pretty. Your explanations are clear. Looking forward to the book....

I'm so sorry you deal with that

I've dealt with crippling anxiety and it's no way to live. I finally gave up on my drugs- they had me on remeron (sp?) and xanax.

I finally started feeling better when I would distract myself during an attack. I would call my best friend, drink a warm cup of tea...play a video game I know that's random, especially since I don't generally play video games- but they're very distracting from what you're anxious about!

Good luck...I hope this ends for you now.
