What about some affirmations to find a really wonderful, caring person to take care of him when you're not around?
Yes, that's a thought, although I'd feel guilty unless it was because I was working...

Pookietooth - YOur ds will so NOT be a freak. He'll be just the opposite, a loved, secure boy.

Oh, and thanks to you and everyone else who gave me feedback on the site. It was all very helpful!

My pm box is full (again) so I'm telling you all here.

I thought when you had a biz siggy, you got more pm storage?

Mama, read what you just wrote. If you don't think it is ok to leave him unless you're working, then why would he think it is ok? It all starts and ends with you.

Why would you feel guilty? I totally agree with Melanie... and I think that's part of what I said earlier.

I don't think there is ANYTHING wrong with a mama wanting some time for herself!! Peggy O said it herself in that great column -- put your oxygen mask on first!

If you want to leave your son with a sitter to go grab a cup of coffee with a friend, you will be a BETTER mom for it because you will be happy and refreshed. Absence makes the heart grow fonder

I am never eloquent and moving like so many mamas here, so I'll leave it to them, but I will just restate that there is NOTHING TO FEEL GUILTY about!!! What about some affirmations for THAT?

I have a subscription and I think I can store up to 500 pm's...

Hey Annikate, have you heard about this new test out of Europe where you send your kid's urine to France and they can test it for mercury and other metals toxicity?

Michael just got tested and is moderate to high for the big M... his mom tested herself also and she's negative. We've always "known" he was Hg toxic but his system couldn't handle the challenge test. Has Kate been tested ever?

Well, so-so. I hate to admit anything as it just encourages it . Today was better than yesterday and I'm hoping for this trend to continue. I read that the hormones of early preg can cause headaches and I've been getting rid of these headaches this week. I've found things that work and I know this won't last long at all. My belly is ok. I just eat a lot of carbs these days.

How about you?

You know I can totally relate. HAve you tried using "HO"? That helps me with anxiety. I'm still waiting for my lexapro to take hold after my one-month trial without it.

Ds and I are so lucky to still be nursing since it is so good for both of us.

I am so happy and grateful that Ds and I are calm and peaceful whether we are together or apart.

I am so grateful and happy and now that ds has grown into the ability to understand when I need a break from nursing sometimes.
Momtwice, I loved your reply. Pookie, s PCOS bites the big one. I have it too.

Yes, I have heard of it but don't know much about it. Kate has been tested through hair samples, blood and poopie samples.

Devon, maybe you can ask his mom for me if she'd be willing to submit her son's story for my book. YOu can give her my email. PM me for it.

Annalily How is your dd doing with homeopathy?

Well guys, I just had a cosmic joke played on me--the mostly funny kind

Immigration is my nerve-wracking manifestation. It has helped so much to look back and see that the stuff that was an anxiety trigger in the past, all those projects turned out fine and besides the anxiety it was mostly easy. Also getting signs saying "You really want this, you will get it, just get clear on EASE."

Anyway the joke is, I'd gotten in the mail this letter that said "We do not have enough information to process your medical examination. Please take this sealed envelope to your doctor." Could hardly be better designed to freak me out.

Finally after angsting so huge it even got to DH, we take it to the doctor. Turns out it's nothing--some xrays that we already took care of anyway. Easier even than our best case scenarios.

WHEW!

Thank you guys SO MUCH, reading before I left really helped me relax and get positive.

Now there's just one more onorous task, it's not even that bad, but onorous. After that the 2 little things are sorta fun, and it's done. So I'm gonna try to do the onorous task while the klonopin is still in my system... although it's been so long since I took any, even the half dose is making me drowsy. But! I will persevere! Maybe get some eucalyptus oil in the air for energy.

I would love to hear affirmations about helping with separations, though, because at this point ds won't stay with anyone but me, not even dh. Sigh.

(as usual) ds turns 3 next month. I expect he'll still be nursing when he's 4, and...? It keeps him healthy and happy. Sometimes I just want to say "Get off me!" but not very often. Usually it has more to do with his habit of playing with the spare boobie... usually it means I need to cut his nails! someday I'll go out at night again... This is when I'm glad I ran around when I was young and waited to have a baby... I don't feel so much like I'm missing something.

I'd love more info. I'm a bit stuck with food & health as well... have already made a big improvement but am "waiting to align" to continue to improve... but any specific info can make my future action more effective

That's funny, I'm the opposite, the only thing I'm all the way safe with is protein

Is the testing something that insurance covers usually? I'm really curious about our guys after reading your site. Heck, about me too, since I just had a filling removed a few months ago.

Have you had your amino acid levels checked? I would highly recommend it if not (I've been totally skimming this thread lately - I have been trying to stay away from the computer during the day but then there's too much to catch up on when I come back. Anyway, I had my aminos tested through MetaMetrix. A physician of some sort has to order the test (my chiropractor did it for me; otherwise my mw was going to do it), and it's a "bloodspot" test, so you can do it at home with a finger prick. Anyways ... I was shocked at how significantly low my levels were. They also refer you to a compounding pharmacy that custom blends a supplement. If you think it might help, I would highly recommend the entire process.
