The ONE Thread March 18-24 - Page 5

Congrats Baby Makes 4 indeed! And lots of vibes! what a great way to come back here.

I'm doing a bit better now, though really pretty frustrated. I guess I'll just have to sink some more $$ into tests tonight and keep trying for a BFP unless AF shows up.

Well you got to top of the page. That hopefully counts for something.

Question about cheapie internet OPKs

I've been using internet OPKs-stopped after Christmas and decided (on a whim) to start using them again this month. In the past, the line will show faintly at first and get darker, but never as dark as the control line. Is this a problem with the cheapie internet OPKs? What else could it be?

Congrats on your BFP, Baby Makes 4!

Who is POAS tomorrow?
massaginmommy thanks for that vote of confidence! I'm just headed home from work now and can't decide if I should do the productive thing and go for a jog or crawl into my pjs and mope. We'll see what the bus ride takes out of me If can both hold in there perhaps we'll be POAS buddies afterall!

Nicole: if I can bear it, I'll be POAS tomorrow as well as I'll likely just keep that up daily until AF arrives. Damn the cost.
Well I held it for 5 hours and then POAS of course it was bfn. SO now I just wait for af to arrive. Keeping my : for you Ourdomicile and you too Nicole

It's ok, I think I can do it. Please move me to the "waiting to know" because I am sure I ovulated, although not sure exactly when. When is the earliest you should do the POAS test? Is it really 19 DPO?
Please move me to Waiting to O arrived right on time this morning. I am really not surprised. Well, a new cycle to try for.

With all of my pregnancies I've gotten a ++ HPT between 10-11 dpo, and never as late as 19dpo as FF is suggesting you wait (I'm assuming). Most people don't like seeing the BFN tho and will wait until 12-14 dpo to test. As I am a poas acholic I start around 8dpo and don't stop until AF arrives. HAHA. GL

Laurie: Sorry about AF. I hope you're doing ok. s

As for, the when is too early to POAS question. Yes, lots of folks seem to be fine at 10 or 11DPO. I'm personally at 16DPO (!) and still getting BFNs as of this morning. This is not a usual cycle length for me and I'm having all kinds of pg symptoms, except of course for that BFP. I'd love to hear any stories any of you all have about happy healthy babies that showed up after a late BFP result. I'm starting to freak out that I'm in for another miscarriage.

massaginmommy sorry about af.

ourdomicile I am praying for your bfp. Your chart looks nice though.

PookietoothI have been healed of testing to early. I have seen way to many bfn's to keep me from poas until I am good and late. How long is your lp? Mine is 17 days on clomid and 14 days without it. I won't be testing till I am at least 18 dpo.

I am going to a new obgyn tomorrow. Mine kinda made me mad our last visit. I asked her what the next step was and she pretty much said accept the fact that you probably won't have any more babies I was so shocked!! Never once did she say that we should get dh tested or said that maybe I should be tested to see if my tubes are open.

I have learned from tcoyf that my cone biopsy may be a factor in this. I had it done with a d&c years ago because of contact bleeding. She never even suggested other options eccept clomid. Even though I was O'ing on my own. : I think it is time to move on. I found one that does acupuncture and is willing to help me. I hope that he is a little more "informed" than my old Dr!

Just got back from the new Dr.!! He is awesome! He has even heard of Toni Weschler and loves the fact that I am charting and wanted me to send my charts!! Yeah Yeah Yeah!!! He was very assuring and was schocked about the way my old Dr. went about things! The only thing that I have to get over is how good looking he is. He is really really good looking, my other Dr was a woman. Oh well, I felt comfortable there. I am so happy that I swiched Dr.s!!

Yay Jezzy!

My temp was higher this morning, : that it means something. : also that it doesn't have to do with the mild sore throat I've got this morning.

Do you have a link to your chart? Wanna share? A sore throat could be a good sign!
Of ovulation?

I just started charting again so the chart doesn't really show much. I had been planning to wait until AF showed again, but decided that I needed to get back in the habit of using the BBT.
Ah well, dh has got a sore throat as well. So, yep, sick.
I have heard of a sore throat as being a sign in early pregnancy. but your dh has a sore throat too? I doubt that he is pregnant I though that you guys were waiting to know. Because of the temp rise, not wto.
