My little one is here!!! pics added

Well on Thursday I had my drs appt and I thought that possibly my water had broke right after I was there but I wasn't for sure. So I spent the day as normal and when the leaking didn't stop I went in to be checked. I was GBS positive and didn't have any contractions and was not dialated so I was a bit worried. SO when I got there it had already been almost 12 hours since it started and I thought tha tmaybe I would have dialated some while I was doing my daily stuff but NOPE. So I had 2 options, since I was a vbac, I could start antibiotics and wait til the am when my doc came on or I could go in and have another c/s. Well since it was going the EXACT same way as my first dd did I opted for teh c/s so that I could sleep and feel better.
So at 11:56pm on the 15th, Nevaeh Kay was born. She weighed 6lbs 3 ounces and is s19.5 inches long. We came home today which is AWESOME and they estimated her as being 36 weeks 3 days old which I don't really agree with but oh well, she is healthy, nursing great, sleeping great and looking great so we are happy. I didn't get my VBAC but I am happy all in all. I wasn't taht night I felt and still sort of feel like my body failed me, but I wasn't willing to put her or myself at risk just to try for the VBAC and the c/s was all in all safest really. I am a bit sore but just really glad to be home.

Just poking around your DDC and had to comment-- first, what a beautiful baby!

And second, I'm a NICU nurse so I (obviously) work with a lot of babies and she is the 3rd baby named Nevaeh (heaven spelled backwards) I've heard of in the past 3 months and I had never heard that name before! Anyway, congratulations!

Thanks everyone, she is pretty special to us. I will try to get a couple pics of her in her cloth diapers and post over here as well. Its been hard since the only thing that fits is her preemie prefolds and we had nothing really to fit for covers, but we are working on that. I have a pair or two of longies that fit ok, and she looks pretty sweet in them.
The name is pretty special for us, my FIL didn't get to meet this grandbaby and so we wanted something that was for him and so we decided that we wanted something with Heaven but I can't have NORMAL so we went with it backwards. Since then I ahve seen the name a few times, its going to be more common than my other daughters name which is Araya which I have not seen anyone else use, and if I have its only been a coupld of times.
