Where to find the bike without pedals, european style?

Have you ever seen those european style kids bikes that don't have pedals. They look like a regular 2 wheeler, but the kids use their feet. I've seen them in some catalogs before, but now I can't find them. Does anyone know about them?

Thanks!

My dd had one of those when we lived in Germany. They are so cool.

Here is one online: http://www.hammacher.com/publish/732...thout%20pedals

Target sells them for I think 50 dollars.

DH saw these and thought they were so cool so he just took DD's bike (she had 3) and took the pedals and chain off. She calls it her 'run bike' and loves it! It has really helped w/ learning how to ride a 2-wheeler.

I saw them at Target a few weeks ago.

We got ours at www.skuut.com
Its REALLY well made ( I saw them at Target after we got ours) and our 4 year old is having a blast riding it on the beach!

Taking the pedals off a regular bike works usually. I thought about getting one in Germany but if Target sells them it saves me lugging the thing across the airport, yeah!

Subbing in.
Any more suggestions about the Target verion? I could only find a four wheeler on their site, not the two wheeler. Thanks.

My 4 yo zooms everywhere on his pedal-less bike. The chain is still on, just the pedals are off. Any bike will do . . . you just need to have it low enough for them to scoot. The beauty of using a regular bike is that when they want the pedals on, then they have a bike to ride already.

Kettler also has a version:

Thanks everyone, you were super helpful. My biggest problem now is that my 3.5 y.o. is teeny tiny. She is the size of a 2 y.o. (just wears 2T/90 this season) so I need to make sure the seat is low enough for her. I have tons of websites to investigate now! Thanks so much.

The bike that we have is the smallest 2 wheeler they make and DH has the seat as low as possible.

The skuut is tiny- you can check it out on their website. My 4 year old has the seat on the highest position.

I wanted the Puky(from Germany) but it was crazy out of the price range of what I was willing to pay.
So I ordered a KinderBike from...http://www.mykinderbike.com/page/1chcc/Home.html

It should arrive this week.
