"late" as of 5/29, updated

We rented an Aqua Doula for $150 locally (so no shipping issues) and it is ready to go!!

I am going on three days post due, lots of big contractions spread out over the last week have me a little more than 2 cm dialated last I checked.

I lost my mucus plug the night before last.

Tommorow (June 1) is my son's 2nd birthday.

The next day (June 2) is my 26th birthday.

We were so ready for it to happen untill yesterday when I started to get a sore throat . It still hurts todayand my husband is a little sick too, but a full day ahead of me.

I am still having big contractions but now hoping it wont pick up for a few days!

And then............... My husband and kids show up this morning with a newborn mallard duckling they found being harrassed by a cat and with no family in sight, and so far no luck finding a rehab facility!!!!!!!!!!!

The duck only will stop peeping when it is nested in my hair or eating worms!! My hands are getting chapped from washing them so often and my 4 yr old is getting upset every time we tell her we are goiong to find someone else to take care of it. Just what we need right now!!! LOL! Oh my how things work out some times!

Too funny about the duckling (poor thing!) - is there a feed store near you that could take it? Or local store has like 30 ducklings right now...

baby duck has a new home, mother duck and all!!

I am feeling better rather than worse today, though still a bit raspy, but the kids have not gotten sick and my husband is pretty much better too.

So I feel prepared for labor again!!

Tonight would be fine with me.. I did a some walking today and will do a little more tonight. I have been laying around a lot latley and still labor a bit every night! Having labor type contractions for an hour or two, but they go away when I lay down! So I think if I am more active durring the day now that I have some energy I can get this done!! My stomach is so streched out I dont think it can get any bigger without breaking.... ouch...
