I am really glad this all worked out for you. Like a PP said, call in a few weeks to make sure she actually closed the case so there is no doubt. Have you got the RO lifted yet?

i think that is the first thing i would think of if cps called!! hmm, racking my brains, could it be the time we called 911 and the cops came and there was a restraining order? seems like the obvious guess!!

it seems like this is exactlty what cps is for - for all the women and children who might be at risk and aren't strong enough to ask for help. but anyway, im glad it looks like everything worked out, and that you are strong enough to ask for help if you needed it if anything like dv ever happened again.

Personally, that wouldnt be the first thing that came to my mind. I dont think of cps dealing with dv issues, I just think they deal with child abuse. Of course, I realize now the link between the two, its so simple, not sure why I didnt before, but anyway..
I can see why someone (the op) did not think of the situation until after the fact.

But I'm certainly glad all is well now!
