WHEN did their food sensitivities (my diet) end? Please say SOON!

My 4 month old is miserable almost all the time. SCREAMING in pain/exhaustion/something.. it breaks my heart..

Part of it is exhaustion.. and we are working on that (yup, it takes 20 minutes to get him to sleep and he wakes in 15 minutes during the day)

But much of it is gassiness....

I'm just realizing the extent of my diet issues.. and basically am living on chicken and rice as EVERYTHING fusses him up (milk/tomatoes/onions/peppers/garlic/spicy foods/most veggies/)

When did your DC stop having such a delicate belly?
ANd what foods did you find "safe"

Please say "4 months and 1 day"

DD1 was sensitive to dairy in my diet. DD2 sensitive to wheat/gluten. It can take a full 8 weeks to get the offender out of your system.

Go over to the Healing the Gut tribe in health & healing. They'll help you.

Both of my kids were sensitive to dairy and soy. DS outgrew his sensitivities around 16 months. DD seems to have outgrown her sensitivities now (just turned 8 months) but if I have too much soy it still bothers her.

If your DS is sensitive to that many things, you may want to consider food chemical sensitivites. This website has more information on food chemical sensitivites: www.plantpoisonsandrottenstuff.com

I found that with vegetables and stuff he seems to be fine with that around 6 months. He is still sensitive to dairy and gluten but no longer to soy. I found that it was onlt if it actually said gluten in the ingredients it would bother him (store bought whole wheat bread, pasta and hot dogs) I either eat only white bread or make my own whole wheat at home. Have you explored the gluten sensitivity yet? I'm sure you don't want to hear about cutting anything else out of your diet. I hear you. There was a time when I felt like all I was eating was white bread, chicken, rice and water. But I also remember the crying and the pain that he was in and that would make me feel like the worst mother in the world, because I know I had caused him that pain by what I ate. I know you are frustrated and probably hungry. Here's wishing things get better for you from here on in!
