Thank you!!!

I don't sew, but my friend does and she said she'll give it a shot.

Being the ultra-lazy type that I am when I "converted" my prefolds. I measured my chunky babies' thighs, cut that length of elastic, and just zigzag stitched the elastic alongside the pad part of the prefolds. I didn't cut anything or add tabs anywhere lol. They worked really well too =D

Same here, I didn't measure, just eyeballed it, cut it, and I did sew the elastic into the layers of the PF so that it wasn't on the outside. No tabs, overlocked the edges back together! Liked em until I washed them and they frayed and frayed, have since switched to prefitteds (snugglebottoms) but still make the pockets and all by hand.
