I thought this was a positive article, overall. I was glad to see she encourages BF and talks about the new WHO charts in a positive light. Just thought I'd share...

Bummer, that link doesn't work for me, even after clearing my pop up blockers. Brings me to the msnbc page and a plain white box.

My DD is exclusively BF'd and she's off the WHO charts in terms of weight. Articles like that make me feel like I'm doing something wrong in feeding my babe

Although it does mention bf, my concern with this is that people may not feed their babies enough because they think that they may be setting their child up for life-long obesity, ykwim?

My ds was so chubby right before his first birthday. He promptly started walking and lost ALL that weight. Even now, he gains a little in the winter, and loses it all in the summer playing all day outside. I can't imagine making him "diet" out of this natural cycle.

I think Mother Nature knows more about this than the Today Show.

This article scares me in a way.
