Can someone explain to be in easy terms how to take an old {1950's} sears machine out of the cabinet and put in my necchi machine in it's place?

I found a just like new cabinet at the thrift store today - but it came with the old machine!

There will be screws. Either coming up through the wood and into the machine or going down through wooden braces.

The bad news is removing the old machine is the easy part b/c once you have it out chances are your new machine will not be the exact same size and shape. You will need to fashion a new bracing and opening for it.
