Baby Samuel was born Monday at 5am. He had a wonderful waterbirth at the birthing center. Labor started Sunday night at 8pm, after a day of castor oil, pumping and walking on the treadmil...something had to give 
. Not sure if any of those worked or a combo of them did, but I put my dd to bed and called my mom to come sleep over. We headed to the birthcenter at 11. Contractions were really easy going until about 3:30ish--then got super intense. I got in the birth tub and dealt with those, then started feeling like I had a wicked contraction and wanted to push at the same time....It was a weird feeling because with dd, my contractions stopped and pushing started. Well, I had a bit of cervix lip left, but I pushed furiously through it...I just had to. My water broke at that time and I actually saw it gush out (reflected off the chrome buttons on the tub) then the head came down and out and the body took a bit. But out it came.
He was 8lbs 10oz and 21 inches long. He came out looking for boob and has nursed consistently ever since. I have to go see a la leche league volunteer because I think he is latching incorrectly and causing me to be super sore especially now that my milk came in.
