Hypothetical question based on job posting I saw at school today

Nestle is looking for a process controls engineer.

Now, this is utterly and completely hypothetical since I'm at least a year from graduating, but when I graduate I'm want to be a process controls engineer.

So, *if* I were able to get this job. (No way.)
And *if* the plant they are hiring for makes ABM. (Possible)

What fun things would I be able to at the plant to promote breastfeeding before they tossed me out the door?

Sigh, if I had like 15 years experience in industry and was finding out about the job through a headhunter there are so many lovely letters I could write. "Dear HR Director Jones, I regret that your company's business practices make it impossible for me to agree to work with your company at this time..."

Ironically enough, I read somewhere that as a company, they are fairly supportive of their breastfeeding employees.

I guess they like not increasing absenteeism as much as the next company?

OTOH, I've also read that free formula is provided for exes' wives.:Puke

When I was changing from my first to my second job after University, I interviewed with Wyeth. It would have been a formula rep job, I think - I actually knew the rep. - she was in my social circle.

I didn't get a 2nd interview - but now I find it so ironic (and kind of scary) that I could have gone down that road. At the time, I was single and career minded, and all I knew and cared about was that it would have been a "good" job (in the sales rep. world).

I've also realized I could still try for one of those jobs, and go "under cover" so to speak. Mind you, most of my resume of what I've been doing, since I left paid employment, is volunteer work in breastfeeding advocacy - so I suppose I wouldn't get an interview at all, now!

I would ask for a pumping break every 2 hours.
