OT - they grow up too dang fast!

My DS (8 yo) is at Disneyland as we speak. DH and I are here at home (in Washington.

On Tuesday DS got on an airplane, by himself, and flew to California to meet my parents, younger sister, younger brother, and all his cousins for a vacation at Disneyland. My parents paid for all the kids to go, and it seemed like a great chance to celebrate how grow-up and mature he is. A great "big kid" treat just before the baby is born.

Only problem? He is still my baby! I miss snuggling him in my rocking chair (okay so he barely fits around this belly , but still) and getting his sleepy little kisses late at night.

He comes home tomorrow morning, and I am ready to have him back.

Just watching him get on the plane, dressed in his dockers and button down shirt (his choice), pulling his wheeled suitcase, looking like a miniature business man almost made me cry! Time passes too quickly!

Wahhhh! : Mine is only 4 and I feel that way a lot. Tomorrow she wants me to drop her off at a birthday party instead of stay with her... I haven't decided yet what to do

Oh, that would make me sad too.
Right now my baby is four and she's dressed herself from head to toe like a princess. Wasn't it just yesterday when I saw her for the first time????
