Need motivation *whine alert*

Grrrr. I planned to get so much done today and haven't done anything but make a mess! My good machine (with the button hole maker) needs to go to the shop and my stupid broken finger with the huge splint and wrap on it are getting in the way. I have so much cute material, but I can't seem to MAKE anything with it. Good grief.

sometimes when I get like that I just spend a little while brainstorming, creating designs, making lists of things i'd LIKE to do, visiting my favorite sewing blogs, and sorting through my patterns and fabric. eventually something inspires me and i cant wait to do it

If even after all that nothing works, there's always shopping!!

and worst case scenerio, step back - go do something else fun for a while and take a break. sometimes a fresh perspective can make all the difference
