My hemp is wrinkled

I am about to start my diaper sewing - finally! I am going to start with the Wee Weka fitted pattern and cotton velour as the inner/outer and hemp jersey in the middle. But my hemp jersey is wrinkled. Should I iron it? Will that harm it?

Unless it's so wrinkled that you can't sew it properly, I wouldn't worry about it. Just smooth it out when you cut it and sew the soaker together and you should be fine. Good luck!

You'll have to post a pic when you've made your first dipes. Hope it goes well for you!

Oh yes, I will post pics, as long as I am not embarrassed of them - which is a definite possibility! They will take me a while as I have only little bits of time here and there to sew. Thanks for everyone's help. I never would have had the courage to even try this without this forum
