Cycle gone awry after m/c!

So this is my second cycle since my two back-to-back m/c. The first cycle started on day 32 (sixteen days after ovulation) and my second started on day 25 (13 days after ovulation). I have always had a 28 day cycle, with maybe a 29 or 27 day once a year...maybe. I also had lost 50 lbs the previous year before my m/c and I am still bf my 2.5 year old. My acne has also gotten much worse. Is there some hormonal problem here?

Any insight would be appreciated. I have a dr appt in April and would like to do some research ahead of time.

TIA.

If this is only your second cycle after back to back m/c, that sounds completely normal. I have had m/c's within two months of eachother (give or take), and your body has really been through a lot hormonally and probably needs some time to get in order again. I wouldn't right off the bat think of a "hormonal problem" though. I found it very useful to chart in between pregnancies, if there is some type of issue, it can be a lot easier to pick up on with a chart. It can give the heads up on any hormone deficiencies.
And sorry for your losses

Thanks for your response! I guess my question regarding possible hormonal problem is not only b/c of my crazy cycles, but also b/c of the m/c themselves. Could it all be related, is my true question, I guess.

As far as charting...I only chart symptoms, cramping, ewm, sometimes cervix position, breast tenderness, etc... I don't do bbt at the moment. Would the bbt tell me anything more than when I am ovulating? I know when I am b/c of the magnificent pain I experience as well as ewm.

Using BBT you can get a pretty good idea if you have a luteal phase deficiency, estrogen problem or progesterone problem. Fertility Cycles and Nutrition is a good book to read. I had pretty normal charts, and we discovered DH had a sperm problem, so I'm assuming that was our problem. But charting can be a good way to spot some female things, that otherwise could take a while to figure out. HTH. And I know how you can be grasping for "whys" after something like this, I don't want to sound like this can figure EVERYTHING out, but its a good place to start. I hope all the best for you.
