ok so I'm cooking a 7lb turkey breast right now, first time in my life!
I'm trying to feed the freezer for baby coming in just over 2 weeks

tonight going to carve some for dinner, w/ veggies and a side
have some soup mix to put some in there
other than that what can I do with it to feed the freezer??

Thanks ladies!

Hot turkey sandwiches

turkey tetrazini

yup, turkey soup (but you really don't need a mix...just saute some onions add some garlic in, then add the carrots and celery, pour some broth over it, and throw in the turkey meat. The broth is easily made overnight. Pour water in a crockpot over a couple of carrots an onion, some celery and crushed garlic cloves and the turkey bones. Put it on low, and when you wake up, you have your broth. Strain the bones and mushy veggies out before you pour it over the saute'ed veggies and the turkey meat. Then add salt and pepper to taste, and perhaps some dried parsley. Then boil noodles or brown rice and once they're cooked and the soup has simmered for an hour or so, throw the starch in, cook another five minutes or so, and viola! Better than any mix you've ever tasted. And not that hard, really)

turkey pot pie/shephered's pie

cold turkey sandwiches

I have more, I know I do...
