BF'ing mom's...how quickly did your LP return to normal length?

Just wondering, because I've always heard that for most women, the first few PP LP's are pretty short. Well, my first one (at 10 months PP) was 12 days, and this next cycle I'm already on 14 DPO with no AF. Pre-pg I had an 18 day LP. Maybe I just have super-progesterone?

After my first pregnancy my lp's returned to normal after 2 cycles I think. I got pregnanct on the third cycle. But my ppaf didn't come until ds was almost 20 months old. After my second pregnancy I got ppaf when dd was almost 17 months (and I was tandem nursing) but my lp didn't return to normal for 5 or 6 cycles. A normal lp for me is 12-13 days. It was only 5-9 days for a while and then it was 12 days and now it has lengthed to 14-15 days. I don't know what's up with that. We're not actively ttc right now, but will probably start in May.

It took my body about 4-5 cycles to get up to a 11-12 day LP (started at 6 first ppaf). Maybe it took longer because I'm tandem nursing?

I got AF back at about 6 months. DS is now 9 mos and I have had what I think is a regular cycle for about 2 mos.
I am pumping while at work, though, so that may affect it. And I'm not entirely certain that my LP is long enough yet. I'm not interested in finding out!

af returned at 7 week pp

-----------------ds didn't have anything my bm till month 9 mind you ----------

Af was every 2 weeks for 5 montsh -- 10 cycels.

then about month 6 or 7 - nrmalized to 28 to 31 days (30 to 31 was nrmal before birth).

we started TTC when DS was 10 months old -- and then i started charting.

since the birth, and for the whole 6 months we TTC, I O'ed at CD 16 ior 17 -- I Oed CD 15 with DS's conception. and LP was over 10 days all but one of the cycles.

took us 6 months to TTC.

After DS, it took about 7 or 8 cycles for my luteal phase to lengthen from 6 days to 14 (first PPAF at 15.5 months). At that point I got pg with DD. Now, I am tandem nursing, and my charts are really wacky to where I am not sure I am even ovulating now. My first PPAF after DD was at 15.5 months, and I am on my 4th cycle since having her. So this time it will probably be a bit longer, but I am not sure if it is just nursing 2 kids (although DS just nurses before bed) or age that is a factor (I am almost 34).

After my first child, I didn't get AF for 12 months. And then it wasn't regular for many months, and suprise- when my son was 18 mo. old- I realized I was PG with #2.

I didn't get AF after my daughter was born for over 15 months....

I got AF back 4 months PP this time. And its been a year my LP's are still short, 8-12 days.

Af returned for me at 3 months pp. (NOT fun!) The first 3 or 4 cycles were so wonky (40+ days long) and short LPs. My DD is 11 months old now, and the past two cycles have been normal (Ovulation somewhere near CD 15-18 and a nice luteal phase of approx. 13 days). I have been charting since AF returned. I'm such a control freak - I have to know at all times what my body is up to
