I feel sad for Sanjaya due to all the bad stuff the media is saying. I think people forget that he's just a kid who likes to sing and thought he'd try out for a big singing contest. I agree that he's out of his element, but I feel badly for him and his family. I hope they are all taking it with a big grain of salt and just enjoying what they can enjoy out of the experience.

I don't think any of the harsh stuff is really sinking in. From his comments, he really doesn't seem to get that he's just not that good.

Several years ago there was that read headed kid who was doing SO badly. I felt AWFUL for him because he really very obviously knew he was in over his head. I was so relieved for him when he finally got sent home.

I don't think they are any worse than any other year, actually. I thought the year with Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice was the biggest snoozer, although I kind of liked Bo Bice. There are always bad people who go farther than they should, but they eventually get voted off. Although plenty of people believe that VoteFortheWorst won last year since they were pulling for Taylor. A lot of people liked Taylor, however.
