15 month old nursing constantly, supply issues?

My ds has been nursing constantly for about 5 days. He'll latch himself on and stay there for 20 minutes. At first he is getting a lot of milk, then he slows to a constant sip. He does this several times a day. Not really a problem for me, I figure he needs to be close or going through a growth spurt. The thing that worries me is that my supply has dwindled. I usually pump 6 oz at night after he has gone to bed for when he is at the babysitters. I can hardly get out 3 oz. And during the day when I am away from him for a few hrs my breasts usually get full, but the past couple of days they have not felt full. I am worried that something is happening to my supply

I know with both of my girls, when they hit 14 months they nursed like newborns-- all the time! Maybe he's working on increasing your supply and it has to catch up?

Breasts not getting full may be normal.

Pumping is not an indication of supply. Many exclusive pumping moms notice a dip in pumping amount; that doesn't mean your direct bfing supply is low.

Having said that, have you night weaned ? has AF returned? Sometimes those can lead to lower supply.

I have upped the number of times I am pumping during the day. DS is still nursing like crazy. He has been night weaned for several months. When he dropped the 11 pm feed is when I added that time as a pumping session. I could have ovulated, I have not gotten AF yet so I don't know. It is taking me longer and longer to pump the same amount that a couple of weeks ago came out quickly. Frustrating.
