I find that now, since my boys are 8 and 5, they are usually the ones who get the funny looks and questions like "Why aren't you in school?". They usually answer with something like "We homeschool." or "We unschool". "Oh, so your mom is your teacher?" "No, she unschools, too" ever-so-casually

I used to feel like I had to educate everyone who asked even the most simple question regarding home education. I am so glad I am past that point. It is soooo draining!
