All I use on yds is water and some locally made vegetable soap for his diaper area. I don't think baby's need much more than that, maybe a little oil if their skin gets dry.
If I was going to use something else I would probably go with Aubrey Organics. They have a very solid reputation for safety and quality.
Check out
www.ewg.org/skindeep - it is a databse of products and ingredients. You can look up your current products, investigate new ones, or if they don't have the specific product look up the safety of the ingredients.
Keep in mind that even if they say natural, organic, etc - most are not. Unfortunately there isn't much regulation of beauty/personal care product claims, so manufacturers can advertise their product as being one thing when it may be the opposite. Castile type soap, expellar pressed oils, essential oils, baking soda, clay - those are some of the few truly "natural" - ie not synthetic/heavily processed - products out there. Shampoos, conditioners, body washes, lotions - all of these contain ingredients that may be relatively safe but are made in a lab/factory. It is just as important to read the labels of these products as when looking for healthy food.
