Clomid and Gonal-F????

Ok, tell me about your clomid and gonal-f stories? Anyone take both? What days did you take the clomid? what days did you take the gonal-f? when did you trigger? Please tell all?????

I did several clomid cycles last summer, but all failed. I took it 1st from my ob/gyn on cd5-9 and with my RE on cd3-7. With my RE, I also did ovidrel trigger and iui. I had horrible side effects with the clomid. But I did get pg with clomid in 2003 and have a dd who is almost 3.

I'm currently doing gonal f. I start my 3rd cycle tomorrow. I have no s/e from the gonal. They shot is easy to do. Its much more expensive (my insurance covers very little) but the monitoring is better. I believe I triggered cd12 and cd15 for my last 2 cycles. I respond really well to the meds. My RE said that on average, it takes about 3 cycles to get pg on injects. I also started doing acupuncture. I've gone once a week for 3 weeks and will continue once a week for this cycle. She doesn't supplements with TCM herbs, just vitamins and fish oil. She is an ob/gyn and does a lot of acupuncture for patients at my RE's office.

I've never taken both at the same time, but I have heard of others who had.

Ok wow, I've responded with the clomid I'm just not getting pregnant again. Can you tell me when you do your shots? I mean what days in your cycle? and for how many days? Why do you trigger so early? I normally O around day 17ish and i was thinking maybe I would need to trigger about 2 days sooner than that. I'm getting the impression for others that if you do the clomid days 3-7 that you do the gonal-f for days 7-11 or something like that. Thanks for your response by the way.
