Last Rant

Thread Starter
(well hopefully it might be my last rant this pregnancy.... I"m having my membranes ruptured in a few hours, so we'll see....)

So for the past two days, we've been trying to jumpstart my labor, since the OB GYNS around here all know nothing about cholestasis and won't induce me. We're doing homeopathics, we've done 3 stretch and sweeps. I've had two nice long walks and spent a lot of time on my birthing ball. So I'm doing what i can. However, there are certain people (like even DH and my mom) who see nothing wrong with asking me flat out "so is it going to be tommorow??" and when I say that i really hope so but I can't be sure, they almost get PISSY!!!!! Like, undercurrants of pissiness.

It just annoys the heck out of me. I"m doing the best I can. I think DH is miffed because he took off the past two days because we were trying to get labor going, and there's still no baby. Well guess what, DH? I'm not loving it either!!! I'd love to know that by 3 this afternoon or whatever I"ll be holding our healthy little girl safe and sound but life just isn't like that.

Ok I"m done. Thanks for listening.

I hear ya. DH is on school break this week and keeps asking me if I am having contractions yet...trust me, if I was having contractions and they meant something you'd be the first to know...

Hope baby comes soon!

How frustrating! I am annoyed enough with due date questions, I cannot imagine the stress you are going through with birth so much more imminent. I hope you DO met your baby very soon!

Well why don't you just set a timer, and when it goes off, have the baby? Even a 5 year old knows how to use a timer. And don't you keep a calendar? Isn't your labor written in your calendar? You should be writing these events down in your calendar so that you don't forget them. Sheesh!
