Just got back from the NOCIRC demo in DC

Hi everyone!
I was only there for a short time because of needing to get my older son from school, but it is worth it to go even for a little while. Its a pretty small group & its hard because it looks like not that many people care about intactivism, I wish there was a way to have a huge crowd. I met Marilyn Milos, she is amazing! The protesters can't approach folks, so people just walk up and ask questions.

It is unbelievably hard work these awesome intactivists are doing, many people walked up and said something crazy like, "Its more sanitary to be circed!" The young couple from Penn & Teller's video (the man won the lawsuit) were there and they are very diplomatic and inspiring to watch as they handled some of the ignorance. So...that was my experience & if you live anywhere near DC I recommend a trip to the Capitol this weekend.

I am going to try and go back tomorrow too. I wish it was easier for more of us to go, I would love to meet MDC people.

I just got here after the ride from hell around the Capitol beltway with a very unhappy baby. Gosh, I've not seen traffic like this in a very loong time. We are late for the march but I am going to try to catch up with the group tonight. I'll be there tomorrow all day.
