Well ladies, he's here! Wednesday March 21 I woke up at 10am to my water breaking. I went to the hospital and after 2 hours I still wasn't haven't contractions so they put me on Pitocin. Gradually my contractions started to get worse and around 4:30-4:45 I asked for some pain medicine b/c my contractions were VERY hard and NOT letting off at all. I was 7cm at that point. They moved me to the delivery room and by the time I got there and they started the medicine I was 9cm and feeling like I was ready to push. After 1 1/2 hours of extremely hard pushing my Dr used the vacuum to help get him out. My CJ was born at 6:34pm at 37 weeks and 1 day. He weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 18 3/4in long. (Thank goodness I didn't carry him to 40 weeks!!) We had to spend a few extra days (including 2 days in Neonatal) due to his white blood cell count being elevated and him showing some signs of an infection. But on March 27th we got to bring our bundle of joy home perfectly healthy. Thank God.
