I expressed my opinion on it, and since I saw many posts claiming that not circumicising will "cause infections, make your son hate you, cause every woman to avoid your son, make him unlike his father, etc" I thought it might be a good idea to post some published research about it to support my opinion. After doing so I was attacked as being ignorant and inflammatory, mind you I didn't comment on anyone else's opinion. After this encounter I decided to leave this due date club. Was I wrong to support my opinion with research? It doesn't change my decision, but I can't help but be upset about it. I guess we can't always expect adults to behave as such :

It's very hard being on a board when the circ question comes up. While pregnant with DD, it came up and most of the girls I post with circ'ed.

: It's sad. When most of us found out what we were having, I sent out an e-mail to those having boys. I just gave my history on how we circ'ed our son and after looking it up when he was 9 months old we totally regretted it. I gave a little info and said if anyone wanted to e-mail me with questions or whatever, they could. The e-mails I did get (which weren't many unfortunately) were just the typical... "we circ'ed our first" or "if I have time I'll look into it" blah blah blah....

: It's really hard being nice to these women after knowing that they don't care enough to look into this.
