Others making me feel awful - Page 2

Maybe, just maybe, when those sheople are grandparents and circ is illegal, they'll remember the sane words you offered. Maybe, just maybe, they'll mull them over in the years to come, so when their kids can't/won't cut their babies, they'll at least be familiar with the idea and not harass them. I can hope, can't I? =)

maybe you could play their card and start calling them inflamatory and insensitive and unsupportive. Maybe you could even try reporting them. I'm sure they have already done all this to you,,,,,for defending yourself against their attacks no less.

I expressed my opinion on it, and since I saw many posts claiming that not circumicising will "cause infections, make your son hate you, cause every woman to avoid your son, make him unlike his father, etc" I thought it might be a good idea to post some published research about it to support my opinion. After doing so I was attacked as being ignorant and inflammatory, mind you I didn't comment on anyone else's opinion. After this encounter I decided to leave this due date club. Was I wrong to support my opinion with research? It doesn't change my decision, but I can't help but be upset about it. I guess we can't always expect adults to behave as such :
It's very hard being on a board when the circ question comes up. While pregnant with DD, it came up and most of the girls I post with circ'ed. : It's sad. When most of us found out what we were having, I sent out an e-mail to those having boys. I just gave my history on how we circ'ed our son and after looking it up when he was 9 months old we totally regretted it. I gave a little info and said if anyone wanted to e-mail me with questions or whatever, they could. The e-mails I did get (which weren't many unfortunately) were just the typical... "we circ'ed our first" or "if I have time I'll look into it" blah blah blah.... : It's really hard being nice to these women after knowing that they don't care enough to look into this.
