Nursing Mamas TTC in April - Page 6

I am completely thrilled to say that I can be moved to the 2WW. This is the first obviously fertile cycle I've had in quite a while!! (Even without the EWCM) I temped very late today but it was still obviously above my pre O temps so I put it in and got cross hairs!! 3DPO- 8 to go until I test!! Happy Easter to all who celebrate it. I'll check in more tonight after all the festivities.

Well once again took another test and showed a faint positive. Lighter than this morning. I will call my Doc in the morning and ask her what she thinks I should do. I am sooooo tired but too anxious to sleep. Only time will tell

Move me to waiting to o please. AF is almost over, I'm going to try charting my temps, starting tomorrow.

Susan - congrats and

I was wrong on my DPO, I'm 9 DPO today, and I have EWCM again : What the heck does that mean? I've never had EWCM again after O.

There is a secondary estrogen surge that often has a temp dip (the one ppl like to say is implantation) and a day or two of fertile CM... but also, I tend to notice EWCM again right before AF shows up. Hoping it's the former for you!

Well my baby is 1 / It is bittersweet, but just in the past week or two he has started to do so many new things and I am loving it. I love seeing his personality come out more and more. We went out today and he didn't nurse for probably 6 hours. I don't know if he was just too busy to care or what, but by the time I took him inside and nursed him because he needed to nap (which he didn't, lol) my boobs were about to explode. I do want to be pregnant but I'm not ready for him to stop nursing. Such is life... I want to have my cake and eat it, too

ellymay, I'm with you, still waiting for an egg and a thermal shift...

susan, fingers crossed!

sarah, woohoo! congrats on the egg!

amandamarie, thanks for the bday wishes!

Question for you loooong cycle ladies...are you charting? I've been charting since 1 month PP but lately I just want to give it up (although it's a love-hate thing, because I'm a control freak perfectionist and love charting...even with co-sleeping my charts turn out nicely too...and it's never been a hassle for me, either). I guess I'm intrigued by the idea of getting pregnant by "surprise" or something...but it seems way too far-fetched to get pregnant w/OUT charting since I"m not O'ing until way after CD 60 or so, and there's no consistency with the date. I'm just not sure what I want to do...I guess it just feels pointless to be charting for the first 50-some days of my cycle just to get to the 60's and 70's when I'll O. But then I think, what IF I did O earlier the one time I stop charting?? : I mean, it'd be one thing if I had shorter cycles and knew that if I DID miss my O date, I'd have another chance in 14-20days or whatever...but these days it's like, if I miss it, I have to wait at least a couple months before I get another chance.

I'm here with a question from my friend. She got her period back at 18 months PP. Her DD is now 25 months. She's had quite regular cycles PP, about 31 days. Instead of charting, she has been using an ovulation predictor thing. I've got her charting now, but that doesn't help figure out the past. She's nursing her daughter about 5 times each day, including a bit at night.

She's currently on cycle day 37, but is getting negative pregnancy tests. She and her husband are TTC, and had good BD coverage around her presumed ovulation time. Note though, that her ovulation predictor thing wasn't working right then, so it never told her that she was ovulating. I guess she's been pretty regular about ovulating on a certain day, though. She's currently 3 weeks post-O and does not feel pregnant.

Any ideas?

Well it's official..... Took test this morning and was definitely . We will be having a X-Mas baby. Not really what I was wanting, but hey I'm not complaining I'll take whatever GOD gives me.

Good luck to everyone wishing you all healthy babies real soon

Congrats Susan! Yeah an x-mas baby isn't my top choice either, but at this point I'll take whatever I get. My due date would actually be Dec 25 if I get pg this cycle.

1babysmom- I don't chart anymore because there's absolutely no way to predict the O date with me it seems. Plus it's just kind of a PITA with co-sleeping and everything.

Susan - congratulations! I really, really want a Christmas baby. I really wanted a Thanksgiving or Halloween baby, too If I'm not pg this cycle I'd love to have a Valentine's baby

My temp went down yesterday, but was up this morning -- higher than it ever goes! 98.0 I'm so tired of getting my hopes up month after month after month and being disappointed. It's so hard to not get them up, though, you know? Anyway, I'm either 10dpo or 7dpo I'm going out of town this weekend and if af doesn't show by the time I get home on Monday I'll test. : :

Congratulations Susan! I was hoping for a Christmas baby, but it didn't happen! Hey, you can't ask for a better Christmas present, right?

Good luck to those of you testing soon!! I'm living vicariously through you all!

UG I am soo annoyed with my body right now! I have yet to have a thermal shift of any significance and it is just really irritating here I am on CD 20 and nothing but ewcm and watery cm for a week now! and my cp has been staying pretty high and kind of med/soft and open and sometimes med and now this am it is very very soft no firmness to it at all and I have alot of watery/ewish cm so IDK maybe I'll get a shift in the am who knows....guess this is going to be a long cycle *sigh*

Well, now I'm having a distinct pain on my lower right side, along with a small amount of EWCM. Maybe my body never O'd like I thought it did and it's doing it now? If AF isn't here by Friday I'll test, but sheesh, my body is acting wierd this cycle!

testing?

hello, I hope everyone had a great Easter!
I've been in 2ww for a couple of months now, as I haven't had an AF lately
I have a question, I hope someone can answer, do you know how many days after implantation bleeding I could get a positive result?
Thanks in advance!

sarahmck - tell your friend to get a dollar store pg test!

susan - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

transylvania mom - anywhere from 3 days on up, it depends on how much hcg is being "emitted"

well "af" is actually an early m/c i'm almost 100% sure. i've never bled or cramped like THIS except for when i've m/c'ed. everytime i move or stand up i soak through an entire pad with BRIGHT red blood. (TMI). my cramps are those wave-like labor cramps. i'm feeling a little cold and clammy, and dh says i'm really pale. it feels good to have dd by me. if i feel too much worse, i *MIGHT* go in to the er and make sure i'm ok. i'm really bleeding a lot and have been for 2 1/2 days.

She POASed this morning and it was negative. Anyone else have any advice for her? Could it be a blighted ovum? I don't know enough about those to say, but it keeps coming to my mind for some reason.

Scarletbegonias, I hope you feel better soon.
