April 1-7 No foolin' Manifesting Mamas - Page 3

Wait a minute. Wait a minute....

Did I just see someone take the name of the French Toast God in vain?

That will be no eggs and bakey for thee!

And all the maple syrup for ME! :nana:

Treasuremapper,

It will all work out! It is working out. Your new home will be magnificent. Trust that.

But I really feel that he tries too hard. I guess he's just soooooo enthusiastic about his business and such, but... especially when he was interviewing Michael Beckwith, I just wanted him to shut up about himself and his precious company and let the Rev. talk! And I say all this without malice, especially as I eagerly look forward to manifesting the $$ to get Holosync.
This is my feeling about him EXACTLY. I love the people he interviews and what they have to say...it's him that irritates me. And that's exactly it - it feels like he is trying SO hard to use all of this to sell himself and also, to make himself look good. It feels like he is always saying how he already does that and he tells people "all the time" this or that that someone said. And I keep thinking, "what people?". And how he talks so much about how he gets it and how everyone else doesn't. It strikes me as very much ego based and like he wants to appear to be superior, like he is trying so hard to appear to be as credible as the people he is interviewing. And what's missing is the love and the compassion.

Every single person he interviews radiates love or compassion or genuine desire to spread the love and make a difference for people. He just radiates trying too hard. But I love that he did his, because I love the course.

Anyway, that's what I want.
Yes, I love craigslist for this. Maybe browse there and see what other people seem to be charging for a similar condition/sized one? That's what I do when I'm not sure.

Melanie, thank you for the Michael Beckwith link! I really enjoyed listening to him speak (preach?), and I like the song, too. I had no idea what type of music it would be and was pleasantly surprised when the reggae beat started!

What a fun idea! I have a friend who is a body painter and henna artist... maybe I can get her to do something for me... Decorating one's body with intention can be a very powerful thing. I had my body painted once (we were at a clothing optional Pagan gathering), front and back, face down to thighs, in ocean waves and watery colors and a purple heart at the small of my back, and the woman who did it sang to Yemaya the sea mama goddess while she painted me, and I told her about my intention to meet my life partner and have a baby... (and yes, this was less than 2 months before I met dh.) It was great fun! Some friends were getting handfasted that evening and I did a water blessing for them.

I think this is the key; remembering you deserve it. I was listening to Michael Beckwith today and he was talking about how Spirit delights in giving us the things we want. Think of how good you feel when you give your dc's a wonderful present. That is what Spirit feels about giving you this house, and watching you and your family enjoy it! You wouldn't want to deny Spirit that pleasure would you?

Whoaaaa. *insert Twilight Zone music*

I was just thinking the other day how much it would raise our vibration to have words of love printed right on our bodies.

I actually frequently write myself messages using eyeliner, usually on my thigh or somewhere only I'll see. Something simple like "Love" that makes me smile every time I see it.

So I'm loving how so many of us have been thinking about body art! We've been discussing how we're all connected on this thread, and then look at the conversation we manifest about sharing thoughts.

eli's mommy... What's your henna of?

andrea... I'm in Toronto. Are you in Canada? If you (or anyone else here lurking) is in TO, PM me! We have a local LoA group going here.

Treasuremapper... I would take some time to really look at why you feel that you have to suffer something bad in order to accept something good. I suspect you've been passed these beliefs as a child, by some well-meaning adults around you. (We all have them!) Get a pen and paper and write down all these limiting beliefs, then turn them around into positive statements. For example...

You have to work hard for money. = Money comes easily and frequently.
Bad things always happen in threes. = The universe is conspiring to do me good!
You can't control what happens. = I am a powerful creator.
...and so on.

Now any time you have one of the negative thoughts, repeat it with the positive opposite. It might feel strange at first, but with just a little practice you'll start to believe what you're saying, and all that other stuff will just drift away.

Now holy french toast! () Go enjoy your manifestation! A quick sell on your house, scoring the perfect new house, a fun hotel stay... wheee! So much good going on for you!

in his book "hidden messages of water", masaru emoto talks about collective consciousness and group resonance. it's pretty neat, how this energy aligning occurs not only IRL but also in online groups such as this one.

Hi everyone!!! Pat - awesome about your magical night

Melanie and others -- yes, that henna tattoo idea is AWESOME! I think if it works for the water it will totally work on us as people --- remember we are about 80% water!

Soooooo..... We had the BEST day yesterday....talk about magical I'll tell ya!

We met Kate yesterday and I cannot say enough about her -- but I will anyway!

She is so wonderful mamas.... and if any of you ever get a chance to meet her you will be truly blessed to --- she is exactly in person as she is on here -- kind, loving, peaceful, insightful, generous, and I have to just digress for a moment and say that WOWZERS is she a hot mama! So beautiful and earthy and her eyes are such a beautiful shade of bright bright blue/green ---

I'm smitten ... and her son... what an adorable adventurer with a smile that melts your heart! He is so gentle and fun loving and free...

LOVE IT!!!

Unfortunately we didn't meet her dh (he was feeling under the weather) but he put together such a nice spread for us to eat -- which was SO kind and so abundant --- we were expecting like a couple of sandwiches on the beach (and would have been completely happy with that!) but Kate is whipping out like all this stuff -- dh joked and asked her where the pepper mill was

Let me tell you it was just so wonderful and I truly feel as though I have made a life long friend --- I feel honored to have met Kate and her amazing son....

I am so sorry I missed Terri but I know we will meet soon! Let's work that out hon -- maybe meet somewhere in the middle for both of us!!!

I am sorry Tara (preggo Tara ) missed it as well and I hope you feel better really soon *hugs* we were thinking of you! Call me when you're feeling up to it!

Oh Tara, it sounds so wonderful!! I'm so thrilled for the connections you've all made in person, and those we've all made online. :

Regarding on-line communities not being "real," this has always been fact:

Where you find humans, you find human interaction that is real.

That includes, but is not limited to, drama, arguments, emotion, community, and yes, friendships.

They are no less real than ones that are in the physical presence. After all, you are part of a community that you live in, yet you don't know everyone in it. They're still real, though, aren't they, now.

People (some anyway) may think, oh it is *only* the internet, this isn't *real* life etc -- but you know what, any one of you could call me and say "hey I am in town, let's get together for dinner" (or whatever) and I would be there without hesitation and know it would be awesome -- I truly consider you women *real* friends -- just because you all are long distance and many I have never met *in person* -- it doesn't change who we all are and the support and love we give eachother --

We should totally all write compelling, heartfelt letters to Oprah -- hey, wanna do that? Write some heartfelt touching letters and send them and SHE will foot the bill for us all to meet... on her show!

Love it!

I see a next big manifestation coming on
I feel the same way about the friendship! Being a part of this group gives me a warm feeling that truly help me getting through the day when I'm busy building my buzz

I'm slowly healing and I'm grateful that my body knows how to take care of itself.

I'm vibrating just a little higher than yesterday and intend to raise my vibration until I'm truly buzzing this week!

I'm planning to go to a show on the 13th but I have mix feeling about going...

I really love the artist and seeing him again would be great (met him 20 years ago... lost contact after the birth of DD1) but DH is not trilled about me going and talking to this man... in fact, I don't think he beleives me when I tell him I've never been in love with this man and we were just friends - for him, a 17-18yo girl cannot stay all night at a 35yo singer's place without having sex with the man (I had missed the last bus and he wouldn't let me stay at the Dunkin Donuts beside the bus station until the first bus in the morning and offered me his couch) DH tells me that he trust me (well, that he has to trust me - it's not his heart that is talking but only his head) but his reaction and attitude tells me he doesn't want me to go...

So this is kind of trowing water on my fire... or raining on my parade... and the joy isn't pure anymore...

I want to free myself from this negativity!
I'm not responsible for DH's feelings!
I know my heart is pure and my goal is only JOY!

Can you help me word an affirmation about finding peace in this situation and maybe something I can suggest to DH to help him also?

i didn't mean to imply that online communities are not "real". i meant face to face i guess. online communities are my main source to the outside world right now! LOL

Koala- I just did one of the stencils that came in the mini kit since I'd never done it before! I have the left over henna though, and I love the idea of writing affirmations!

It's like we are all on the same wave length! Very weird.

I was actually speaking to the generalized attitude that says it's not real, not to anyone in this thread. I knew what you meant, I just felt like speaking to the generalized statement that people often make of, "those aren't really your friends, you only know them over the internet."

Which isn't true. I know more about most of you than I know about most of my ex-coworkers. Not for lack of trying with them, either.
