I'm sorry the beads didn't come in time - but you are right - we were thinking of you lots...and still are!! Yay for you! Welcome to the world, little Justin! I can't wait to hear how it's going, mama. You are going to be a wonderful mama to two.
Hugs to Jason and Christopher. PM me when you begin to despair of only having two hands and one lap. I promise you - this is really wonderful! Hooray for you!!!!!!
We are on Day 15 of our road trip. The kids are getting a little tired, and so am I, but it has been really great seeing everyone. I call this trip Grandparents 2007. All three sets have been thrilled, and we've got less than a week to go. Take two children - mess up their naps and nighttimes - feed them erratically and feed the toddler different types of foods - let them sleep at 4 different places in two weeks - oh, and ask them to be their happy little selves for people they've never met ----- yeah, we're tired.
But we're hanging in there. And it has been fun getting back our parents' houses and where we both grew up. Both kids are sleeping now, so I bowed out on the family luncheon planned for today (I'm not sad) to let them get their first good nap in a bed in a week. Hopefully it will make them happy for tonight's dinner with friends and tomorrow's lunch with different friends and tomorrow's dinner with family................aagh. I've just been doing a lot of hugging and holding of the toddler and nursing the baby all night. What else can you do?
Deb, sending (((hugs))) your way. I thought of both you and Nonny when I was down in Frederick the other day. I went to Linganore Wineries and bought a case of wine.
I wish I could share with you!
Hooray for warmer weather in AK, Andrya -- that is so good, isn't it?
Rivka, I'm so glad the twins are better.
I hope you had a good Passover.
Skana, I do NOT want to hear you calling yourself a wimp! You are anything but! ...and I don't think there's such a thing as "just" working three days a week, silly.
You are doing a lot, and you are always so upbeat - and Griff and Tova seem to be doing awesome. And I'm glad you're enjoying your job - I think that would be a lot of fun to do, really. So you give yourself a hug from us - you are doing a great job.
I'm sure I'm missing more as I can't get the rest of last month's thread up - I'm on MIL's dial-up right now (!) - but I hope the rest of March was good to all of you. Kate & Chasmyn & NewMama, I hope the new homes and neighborhoods are wonderful & that the kiddos are happy. Kristin, still sending ((hugs)) and light your way; I hope you and CJ are all right. Angela, welcome!
--and love to all.
I'll hopefully be back on in another week when we get home so I can catch up again. Have a great week & happy Easter to all of those who celebrate it.
