I checked mine yesterday. 1st in awhile. I could get 1 finger in the internal part easily. I had an OB appt on friday and he checked me along with the GBS test. He said he could feel the baby's head, but I can't. I'm not sure where he felt it exactly. When he was checking my cervix (he agreed 1 cm), he said he felt it. I don't know.

The goock that came out after both times...UGH... I guess part of my plug did replenish itself. I had crap wrapping around my finger (literally) last night when wiping.

Last time I checked my cervix, prolly a good 3-4 weeks ago, I could feel an opening of about 1 1/2 inches. I guess my body just wasn't quite ready to let go yet and closed some off :

I do it b/c I have a history of PTL. It's good to know when/if I should go to the hospital. Plus, if I've been losing my plug for the past, oh, 3-4 weeks with some bloody show in between, I want to know how the cervix has progressed and if I should be worried some.

that's just why I do it. Anyways, either it'll be my fingers poking the baby in the head (which I don't know where his head is at this point), or my DH while DTD ....poor lil' guy.
