What's Up With The Hacked Forum Titles?

I am getting forums titles "Politics and Disco" "Llamas" and "Do not talk about the N&CE forum elsewhere as the N&CE forum does not exist". While amusing, I am wondering where this is coming from?

So, based on things you've posted before, it replies for you??? I don't think this sounds like a good idea. Can someone explain this to me - and what about this "unless you've been living on Mars" comment. I've been posting for quite awhile and haven't seen anything about it.

Oh man! It sounds like there was some other stuff that I missed - like the forum titles being all funny "Politics and Disco" "Lllamas" I wish I had seen those - much cooler than the dumb auto-reply joke - suits my sense of humor more.

The tree-hugging title is still there: it replaced the forum category "Natural Family Living" (the category TAO is in, among other things).

Well I feel like a freaking idiot. You know I was busy making my "alternative" New Year's resolutions 'cause I didn't make it in time for January or Spring Equinox. So I wasn't even thinking fools. GAAAH.

(PS Can I just say how much the intro page sounded like a real hacker? I apologize if the person who wrote it is not a native English speaker, in which case, uh, what can I say, your English is not worse than my French, BUT if you were trying to imitate that terrible Internet-hacker-"English" that does pop up, bravo.)

Well, I'm relieved! I just joined this weekend and was SO wondering what I had gotten myself into. (Where's the community in an auto-response from an intelligent computer? And the Tree Hugger thing; prejudice was one thing I was hoping not to find.) Boy, it may take me a while to sort out those first impressions!

I had a big day at church yesterday and was thinking of Apr. 1st soley as Palm Sunday - did not even think of April Fool's till MUCH later in the day, as evidenced by my post above!

LOL I had a fun time with the first few posts, made me laugh.

The April Fools joke could have been worse. My sister and her fiance are buying a house. They got a call saying their Escrow fell through. They were both freaking out trying to figure out what to do (they are 28 and have been living at home with my mom for 3 years, and totally want/need that house). Their friend called back and told them April Fools. Mean mean people!

lol... I was really afraid of the autoreply thing ... and I was afraid that I was going to have to quit MDC, because I hated the idea... sounded creepy... lol... maybe a PM saying today is the day of April fools jokes... so be prepared to laugh or something... I dunno
