what to do... vulvar varicosity

So... what do I do about a vulvar varicosity? Never had these with Amari and *poof*, all of a sudden I have one now, and it's oh so painful.

What can I use to reduce the overall localized pain?
Will I be able to get it to go away before the birth?
If not, will it go away right away afterwards?

my favorite herbal for pregnancy (Herbal for the Childbearing Year, by Susun Weed) says witchhazel, comfrey, yarrow and mullein compresses to reduce swelling and pain and tighten veins. vit e, garlic, onions, lecithin all help viens maintain and regain elasticity...eat daily.

hope you can find some relief!

Thanks so much for the advice. I have some liquid witchhazel at home, and just made some frozen comfrey compresses for postpartum... and have alot of the comfrey infusion left over for a postpartum peri-wash. I will have to break some of this stuff out for NOW!! LOL
