Who's Still Pregnant and How Much Longer?

I was due on 3/30 but I'm still pregnant. My midwife is guessing it will be this coming weekend. I haven't really had any signs of anything happening, but the baby is definitely sinking lower. Also I've been feeling crampy, which I hope is good!

Still preggers. Was due 3/31, and I was so sure I'd go early! My dd was born on her due date.

I'm having ctx every night, along with upset stomach and nausea-- blech-- but it goes away after a few hours.

I was up from 2-5 a.m. this morning with ctx and so sick! I thought for sure it had to be the real thing, but no. So, I'm off for a walk.

I am. 41w1d today. We saw the midwives today and my curiosity got the better of me. Went ahead and did a VE and I'm 50% effaced, a "good" 1cm. I was sort of hoping for more, but I'll take what I can get at this point.

Starting the EPO tonight, will probably make an acupuncturist appointment for Wednesday, biophysical profile scheduled for Friday, and the far more aggressive methods begin on Sunday (castor oil, sweep and strip, catheter, AROM, etc etc).

Seriously hoping that she wakes me up tonight with something... the waiting is driving me absolutely bonkers.

(sigh) I'm still here. And my mom is about to leave!!! : I tend to go early in pregnancy - 1 to 2 weeks early - so she booked to come the day after my due date. She's due to leave on wednesday and tomorrow I am 41 weeks along with no hope of giving birth anytime soon.

The maddening thing is I wouldn't mind the wait at ALL if it weren't for my mom missing everything!! Dh doesn't want her in the room for the actual birth but doesn't mind the help during labor and after...I want my mummy very much for after!!!

So this is also now the FIFTH day of starting regular, hard cx from about 2pm to anywhere from 9 at night to 3am before stopping. I just hate that all my "mom help" time is basically gone and the baby hasn't even come yet!!

Sorry to be so blah - I'm just a little discouraged.

I'm still here too. My EDD was 3/29 so I'm not even 41 weeks yet. However, my OB is on vacation this week and so I had to see another doctor . My OB is the BEST so I tried to prepare myself that I've been spoiled but nothing could prepare me for the experience I had during my appointment yesterday. This other OB had NOTHING nice to say at all. My hubby and I got this lecture about failing placentas, induction, etc. and how I have 2 things going against me right now....I'm overdue and I'm measuring small. I'm just sitting there thinking, "Hey buddy, I'm not even 41 weeks yet and your already talking induction!!!" I was completely blown away because my OB is not worried at all. In fact, she told me before she left that she expected to see me next week since it is my first pregnancy and all. If she's not worried what is this other OB's deal??? I'm COMPLETELY fine being pregnant and feel deep in my heart that the baby needs more time to grow. I'm in no hurry, the baby's in no hurry, and my regular OB is in no hurry. He pretty much gave us 2 options, induction or a non-stress test. Duh!!!! I wanted to take the test just to show that the baby is just fine being left alone!!! Thankfully my hubby and I are well informed and on the same page and we just have to stick it out until my OB comes back next week. Who says that EVERY baby NEEDS to be out of the womb by 42 weeks??!!! I want to see some medical reason that MY baby NEEDS to be out......then we'll talk. Thanks for letting me vent. You guys keep me grounded.

Still here! Over 41 weeks and just waiting impatiently (I don't want to induce.) The midwife thinks I have close to another week... we'll see!
