Pregnancy brain already?

So I did something really stupid last night. Dh works until 10pm and I was taking dd out to the car to go pick him up. We live in an apartment complex. So I'm carrying dd and the diaper bag and I get to the car and try to unlock it. It doesn't work. I try again and it still doesn't work. Now I'm getting frustrated and I start saying some choice words thinking there is something wrong with my keys. Also, there's this guy cleaning out his car two cars down from me and now he's watching me. So I keep trying the lock and then a wave of embarrassment washed over me as I thought "omg, what if this isn't my car" I look inside, see the toyota emblem on the steering wheel, and think "yeah, this is my car alright" (keep in mind that it's dark outside). So I decide to go around to the passenger side to see if that lock works. And as I walk around the car I look into the back seat and there is NO CARSEAT. I take a good look at the car and realize that it's the same make and color as mine, but it's a different model. I was MORTIFIED. I look down the row of cars and mine is a few cars down. I was so embarrassed (the guy was still watching me) I hauled butt as fast as I could down to my car and got dd in and left. I can't believe I did that. It's still bothering me today. I keep thinking it must have looked like I was trying to steal a car. Ugh. I don't suppose anyone else has any stories to make me feel better.

Don't feel bad! When I told Dh I was preg last night he laughed and said , "I figured, you've been spaced out and acting like an idoit for days!" Apparently I keep leaving the room as soon as he starts to talk to me! And I drove for five mintues in the opposite direction yesterday--which is something I NEVER DO!! My 5 year old had to ask me where we were going!

I'm totally like that and after the first three kids I never recovered my brain. I have no hope for a brain left after #4!
