Anyone else taking Clomid due to no ovulation?

I rarely see anyone mention that they have annovulatory cycles. Am I the only one taking Clomid for no ovulation? Care to share your experience?

I can't tell you my story yet, but I'll be starting Clomid next cycle (artificially started with progesterone) because I haven't ovulated or had a natural cycle in almost 2 years. I'll be reading the thread too!

I often have anovulatory cycles. I was taking clomid, but then I was diagnosed with pcos. I'm waiting until the cysts subside before I resume taking clomid again.

When the dr first mentioned that I wasn't ovulating, I was pretty insulted. I chart regularly, and had been observing not only definite temp shifts and a corresponding luteal phase, but all of the other signs of fertility. He insisted I back up my charts with opks, which is when I learned that I wasn't ovulating despite all the signs. Occasionally I do ovulate, but apparently not very often.

I am annovulatory due to PCOS on my own. Even with Clomid I wouldn't ovulate. I'd get good follicle growth with it, but had to have HcG injections to force ovulation. I charted for almost a year and never saw any indication of ovulation.

We conceived on our second cycle of Clomid/HcG.

I don't think I'm ovulating. I haven't been charting or temping, but the few times when I've tried to use OPKs, got nothing. I'm on clomid, and last cycle the 50mgs did nothing for me. Am on 100mg this cycle, have a u/s Thursday, so we'll see if its done any good.

My cycles have been anovulatory since I miscarried in November. I'm on 100mg clomid this month and I did ovulate.

I also have/had PCOS at took Clomid to concieve our 1st child. I would go many many months between periods. Working with an RE, I did 6 rounds of clomid, ovulated 3 times, and got pregnant the 3rd try. For the second pregnancy, I tried 2 cycles of Clomid, didn't ovulate at all, and then got pregnant with our first cycle with follistim.

Good luck to you!!! It's a roller coaster to say the least.
