Anyone with Cholestasis?

Ahh, I woke up last night super itchy and now my hands and feet are itching like crazy. Anyone else experiencing this? I see my MW on Wednesday, but I hope that everything is OK.

I pretty much fit the description...hands and feet itching, light colored stools, tired, moody and on and on.

I thought that maybe I was going crazy, but I guess that there is some reasoning behind this.

I guess that I'll get some dandelion tomorrow and see if that helps.

I was just like that at 2am on Thurs. I started taking dandelion at 10am on Friday and feel good now. The only thing is that I also had a rash, and we really don't know if it was stress or choleostasis or PUPPPs. Because the swelling has subsided they haven't sent me for liver function testing and are just watching me to see if the rash returns or the swelling or both. I have to say the itching was INFURIATING on Thurs and Fri nights. I barely slept. Cold packs on my hands helped, and hydroxyzine a bit as well.

my midwife recommended dandelion root, vit B complex and flax seed oil.



I hope it subsides for you and is something other than choleostasis for both of us!

I cried myself to sleep last night and prayed that it would all be OK. I have heard of some really bad things in conjunction with Cholestasis. DH was really good and he kept telling me that it'll all be OK and I talked to the baby most of the night. I have been awake forever!

The itching wasn't too bad last night and I actually had a darker colored BM this morning, but I am still freaked out. I am going to call MW this morning and talk to her.

I am so close, 39 weeks, and I just want to meet our little one. Stress probably doesn't help all of this. I am starting to get a bit nervous and anxious. I really wish that my mother lived closer. I need her more than ever.
