My water broke on 3/27 (38w by the wheel or 37w 4days by my chart) at 6AM and contractions started at 3/28 at 2AM. I started active labor (4 cm, 90% effaced) by 7:15PM and spent 13 minutes pushing baby into the world at 2:27AM on 3/29. I gave birth at a freestanding birth center with midwives with no pain medication. I did have an IV because I didn't feel like drinking/eating during labor and was dehydrated. I also had a shot of pitocin at the moment of delivery - my MW thought it was best with the way my labor had progressed. The baby weighed in at 7 lbs, 4oz and was 20.75 long.

YAY!!!! I'm so happy for you. That is a great picture of the happiest moment... and the rest are good too, what a cute little guy. I'm so glad that everything went well for you, I've been wondering.

Wow! What beautiful photos- and a beautiful little boy! I love the first 3 especially- he's so soft and non-scrunchy looking- and the wide clear eyes! They're great- and congratulations on a great birth- welcome Logan!
