hanging leg over the side of carseat....

i keep tryibng to get a pic of ds doing this, but when i get the camera out he puts his leg down to pose.

he has a recaro young sport. he sits in it and likes to hang his leg over the side of it. i'm sure sitting in the exact same position all the time gets uncomfortable, but is this safe? i can ask him not to and he usually will put it down without a problem, but today i asked him to put his leg down and he was signing 'more more more'. i asked more what? and he put his leg back up. i don't want to make it a big struggle. i thought i would see what some of the carseat experts on here thought (and everyone else of course).

here's his seat.

I wouldn't worry. DD often sits the same way.

Your post made me giggle. So cute. I can totally picture that. As long as he is strapped in correctly with his harness clip at his armpits and no slack in the harness straps, then an occasional dangling leg should be cool.
That is provided it is still being used as a 5 pt restraint; is it? If you are using it in BPB mode, try your best to get him to sit straight up. There is possible risk inherent when a passenger is not sitting fully upright when being restrained by the vehicle belt if it is out of place.

I think it should be fine.

yes - still a 5 pt (he's only 21 months old).

i feel a bit better knowing you gals are cool with it. i'll probably leave him alone about it from now on.
